Kelly Clarkson Had to Go to the E.R. After 'The Voice' Live Shows This Year
Kelly Clarkson had to get emergency surgery in May, hours after hosting the Billboards.
Now she's revealing she had a second health scare on live TV one week later.
We are not worthy of Kelly Clarkson.
Not only is she an amazing wife to Brandon Blackstock and the best mom ever to her kids, but she's also one of our favorite singers, Voice coaches, and future talk show hosts. Seriously, she does it all! Including hiding her incredibly painful health scares for the sake of good TV.
News broke in May that Kelly had to undergo emergency surgery to get her appendix removed hours after she hosted the Billboard Music Awards. Now, the 37-year-old is admitting that she experienced another uncomfortable incident while filming for The Voice's live shows.
"Blake [Shelton] was talking to me and all of the sudden, everything he said just went away and I had to grab his arm and I was like 'Something is wrong,'" she told People.
She later discovered that a cyst had burst on her ovary. "That was more painful than appendicitis," she said. "It was literally a week after my surgery so I was freaking out!"
Kelly took another trip to the E.R., and thankfully she's "totally great now." But she admits she did have a few loopy moments here and there.
"I was hysterically laughing and crying at one point," she said.
She may be on the mend, but every fan should keep an eye out for Kelly when The Voice season 17 comes back, and when The Kelly Clarkson Show premieres. Protect Kelly at all costs!
