Kelly Clarkson Joins 'Top Chef' As Celebrity Judge For Special 'Trolls' Quickfire Challenge
Kelly Clarkson stars as the voice of "Delta Dawn" in the brand new Trolls World Tour movie, available now via on-demand.
The American Idol alum and The Voice coach expanded her repertoire with a recent appearance on Top Chef to judge a special Trolls-themed challenge.
We all know and love Kelly Clarkson as American Idol’s first winner, not to mention one of our favorite coaches on The Voice AND the host of The Kelly Clarkson Show. now, we can count her as one of Top Chef’s celebrity judges, too.
On Thursday, April 9, Kelly joined the All-Star cast of season 17 to judge a special Trolls World Tour-themed Quickfire Challenge. (Kelly stars in the newly-released movie as the voice of Delta Dawn, the troll who represents the country music genre.)

At the beginning of the episode, host Padma Lakshmi introduced Kelly to the contestants with a few mysterious clues:
“Grammy award-winning artist, judge on The Voice, one of the voices in the upcoming Trolls World Tour movie…” Padma teased as Kelly appeared through a door at the back of the set. Suffice it to say the all-star contestants went wild.
The chefs were challenged to create a dish using colorful, vegetarian ingredients, in honor of the bold and bright color scheme of the Trolls movie, and Kelly clearly enjoyed her task at hand.
In a clip from the episode, she told Padma, "You have the greatest job in the world by the way . . . This is the greatest day ever."
Padma herself took to Twitter to express her excitement about Kelly's appearance on the show:

Based on the positive reactions (and all those delicious dishes!) it looks like Kelly had a fantastic time on the show, and we can only hope that means she'll come back for another guest judge appearance!
