Kelly Clarkson Lights Up the Stage in Stunning White Fur Jacket at Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting
Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson embraced the holiday spirit as she gave a passionate performance for the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting show.
The singer and talk show host shined on the stage in her festive outfit, with Clarkson wearing a beautiful snow-white wrap jacket with big white fur lining the neckline, cuffs and hem.
Bracing the cold, Clarkson added black leather gloves that perfectly contrasted with the jacket, while her hair was styled in a messy bun on the top of her head. She also added a pop of color with a red lip.
A pre-taping for a portion of the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting show took place on the night of Tuesday, Nov. 28, while the show will air on NBC and Peacock at 8 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
It appears that Clarkson taped her performance ahead of time, but she will be hosting the live event on Wednesday evening at Rockefeller Center in New York City. For any local fans, the festivities on-site will start at 7 p.m. The iconic large Christmas tree will be lit at the end of the show, around 10 p.m.
For the 91st Rockefeller Christmas tree celebration, there will also be performances by the Radio City Rockettes, Cher, Barry Manilow, Keke Palmer and more, while Today show stars Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, and Craig Melvin will be there for commentary.
Clarkson said of the show, "I’m so excited to consider this city and Rockefeller Center my new home, and I can’t imagine a better way to kick off Christmas this year than to be a part of this beautiful New York tradition with the lighting of the tree."
The singer is also celebrating her first Christmas in New York City since moving here from the West Coast, with her show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, transitioning to film in Rockefeller Center.
