Kelly Clarkson Praised for Putting Unique Touch on Classic '80s Song
Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson has done it again, folks.
This week, the talk show host and powerhouse vocalist has wowed her fans once again during a new episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she took a stab at a classic '80s hit during the fan-favorite Kellyoke segment.
As seen in the now-viral video of the performance, Clarkson, 41, and My Band Y'all put a unique spin on Taylor Dayne's 1988 song, "Tell It to My Heart."
As always, Clarkson's fans were in awe of her vocals, with many taking to the comments on the YouTube video to share their thoughts on the impressive cover.
"She can literally sing anything and make it sound like her own," one of her fans wrote in the comments, while another person pointed out, "I can’t get over how great and happy she looks! I’m speechless."
"Her voice is in TIP TOP shape. Just WOW!" someone else noted.
Clarkson appeared to be back to her usual self in the new Kellyoke segment, after she recently transformed into a vampire for the Halloween episode of her talk show earlier this week.
To celebrate the spooky holiday, the former coach on The Voice made the very fitting decision to sing Olivia Rodrigo's aptly titled song "Vampire," which she performed while dressed up in a hauntingly gothic costume.
Not only did her vocals live up to the usual standards, but the chilling cover was made even more spell-binding with the addition of the dark costume, an enchanting arrangement and the spooky stage decorations.
"The costume, the stage, the voice, the performance... Everything was amazing!!" one of her fans gushed in the comments
"A storyteller, a vocalist and more!!!!" another user added.
