Kelly Clarkson Wore a Sultry Black Dress With a Slit on the Red Carpet With Her Husband

The Voice coach looked unbelievable on the red carpet, which she walked alongside her husband, Brandon Blackstock.
Ahhhh, Kelly Clarkson! That's all we have to say after seeing her red carpet look at the Critics' Choice Awards.
The Voice coach and Brandon Blackstock stepped out for a sweet date night at the event. It's great any time that the American Idol alum gets some time with her husband, but we like it even better when she gives us major style envy while she's at it.
Kelly absolutely stunned in a long black dress with a high slit. It wasn't your average LBD, though. The gown sported some serious ruffle detailing on the arms and neckline that elevated the entire ensemble. She kept her hair and makeup classic but simple, and added some sparkle with her bedazzled heels and hoop earrings.
Brandon brought his A-game as well. (His stepmom, Reba McEntire, must have taught him a thing or two about red carpets.) He wore a traditional black suit that perfectly complemented Kelly's look, making them some of the best-dressed stars to attend the awards.
Kelly was more than just a spectator too. She was nominated for Best Talk Show, though she sadly lost to The Late Late Show with James Corden and Late Night with Seth Meyers. The "Piece by Piece" singer also presented and gave a memorable shout-out to Schitt’s Creek star Eugene Levy.
"I personally love Eugene Levy, I love you," she said. "Schitt’s Creek is the jam … Everything else is great too, I just have a lot of kids and I don't get to watch a lot of television."
We're glad to see Kelly is her same hilarious self in 2020.
