Kelly Osbourne Finally Sets the Record Straight About Her ‘Rapid’ Weight Loss
Kelly Osbourne
Kelly Osbourne is breaking her silence on her "rapid" weight loss.
Since welcoming her first child, son Sidney, in 2022, The Osbournes alum's figure has visibly slimmed down quite dramatically, something that has been rumored to be due to Ozempic use.
“I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic. I don’t know where that came from," she told Extra of shedding 85 lbs. "My mom took Ozempic.”
The daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne continued to offer insight into her weight loss journey, opening up about what method she actually used, and why it was necessary for her to make health changes.
"I had gestational diabetes, and I had to lose the weight that I had gained during pregnancy, otherwise I was at a higher risk of actually getting diabetes, which I did not want," she explained, adding, "I cut out sugar and carbohydrates and I rapidly lost weight."
Additionally, she had a head-to-toe makeover done with the help of a toning device to sculpt her face and "tighten the skin" around her neck and under her chin, as well as around her body due to her smaller figure.
"I had the baby and my stomach got so many stretch marks, and the skin, it looks like it lost its elasticity,” Kelly said of her reasoning for using the popular tone-up treatment, which combines EMFACE and EMSCULPT NEO.
While the use of prescription drugs to aid with weight loss has gained more traction over the past few years—with even Sharon opening up about her experience with the medication—there are several celebrities who have come out to dispel rumors that they're the only way to shed extra pounds.
Similar to the former reality TV star, Kelly Clarkson also admitted she made lifestyle changes due to being diagnosed as pre-diabetic, and Post Malone spoke out about deciding to "kick soda" and start "eating better."
