Kellyanne Conway Is Leaving the White House

Her 15-year-old daughter Claudia recently stated that she plans to emancipate from her parents.

Kellyanne Conway announced that she will leave her position in the White House as Senior Counselor to the President. The decision comes after her and George Conway's 15-year-old daughter Claudia said that she plans to emancipate from her parents.

On Sunday night, Conway posted a link to a long statement on Twitter in which she thanked Donald Trump and said her transition will happen by the end of the month. She also said that her George will leave his role at The Lincoln Project, a conservative organization against Trump. "I will be transitioning from the White House at the end of this month," Conway wrote in her statement. "George is also making changes. We disagree about plenty but we are united on what matters most: the kids. Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months."

While she did not mention Claudia's tweets, she sited the need for more time with her children as the academic year begins. "As millions of parents nationwide know, kids “doing school from home” requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times. This is completely my choice and my voice. In time, I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama," she wrote.

George posted shortly after Kellyanne and confirmed he is leaving his job as well. "So I’m withdrawing from Lincoln Project to devote more time to family matters. And I’ll be taking a Twitter hiatus. Needless to say, I continue to support the Lincoln Project and its mission. Passionately."

Following her parent's announcement, Claudia posted that she will be taking a step back from Twitter. "this is becoming way too much so i am taking a mental health break from social media. see y’all soon. thank you for the love and support. no hate to my parents please."

Kellyanne was scheduled to speak at the Republican National Convention this week, there is no word whether or not she still plans to do so.
