Ken Jennings Shares Hopes for Taylor Swift to Appear on 'Jeopardy'

Ken Jennings; Taylor Swift

Ken Jennings hopes that Taylor Swift will one day bring her talents to the Alex Trebek stage.

The Jeopardy! host recently shared his desire for the "Cruel Summer" songstress to appear on the beloved game show, either as a spectator or even a contestant on the game.

Jennings, 49, spoke with USA Today in a recent interview when he talked about Swift's good friend, Emma Stone, potentially competing on Jeopardy!, which made him wonder if it would be possible to get the 14-time Grammy winner to tag along.

Stone, 35, recently expressed to Stephen Colbert that she has been trying out for Jeopardy! for years (to no avail)—but it is still her dream to qualify for the show rather than join as a celebrity on Celebrity Jeopardy!

After admitting that it "would be exciting" to have Swift, 34, in the Sony Pictures Studio, Jennings asked, "Is Emma Stone in Taylor's squad? Could we get Taylor to a game if Emma got on the show?"

"It seemed that Emma implied she's keeping a low profile when she tries out, so maybe she's going to get on ‘Jeopardy!’ in disguise," he said. "Maybe we've already seen her and didn't recognize her. We're very excited to have her keep trying out."

We know if Swift ever did make an appearance on Jeopardy!, the show would likely experience a major boost in ratings, much like the Super Bowl broadcast did earlier this month when the music superstar was in attendance to support boyfriend Travis Kelce.

As reported by the BBC, Super Bowl LVIII was the most-watched broadcast since the moon landing in 1996, with an estimated 123.4 million people in the U.S. tuned in to watch the Chiefs play the 49ers.
