Kendall Jenner's Color-Blocked Outfit Is the Antidote to Winter Blues

Winter is officially in full swing. There was a blizzard in New York yesterday, and even usually-sunny Los Angeles was gray and gloomy this weekend. So, when Kendall Jenner stepped out in a color-blocked look in a mood-boosting palette on Saturday, her outfit was a welcome reprieve from our collective seasonal blues.

For lunch with friend Travis Bennett, Kendall wore a vibrant lemon yellow turtleneck with a second sweater in an equally cheery hue tied around her shoulders for extra warmth. She paired her doubled-up knits with high-waisted jeans and brown heeled boots. As for accessories, she left her bag at home and opted for tiny sunglasses by SALT., dainty hoop earrings, and a single ring on her index finger.

Kendall's outfit is a necessary reminder that spring is just on the horizon, but it's also a way to cope with the sub-zero temperatures until the season shifts. The experts call it "dopamine dressing" — the idea that you can dress yourself happy with bold knitwear and eye-catching accessories in bright colors during the chillier months.
