The New KENZO x ASICS Collaboration Is Out of This World

KENZO just announced its first sneaker collaboration with Japanese brand ASICS, and it's a pretty big deal. Designed by the brand's Artistic Director, Nigo, the collection comprises three gender-neutral styles, taking over the classic GEL-KAYANO 20 silhouette.

Fusing KENZO's colorful heritage with ASICS' sneaker heritage, the new silhouettes offer comfort, stability and style. Developed with a two-layer midsole and outsole made up of EVA, TPU, GEL technology and rubber, the collaborative offering features two shoes crafted with a tiger-inspired pattern and faux fur uppers. The first sneaker appears in blue, lime green and orange, with the second landing in a subtle silver, gold and white colorway.

The final shoe in the collection boasts a slightly more fresh colorway, merging blue, green, pink, yellow and orange contrasted by hits of sporty white. Rounding out the design is an ASICS label on the pair's right tongue, paired with the KENZO logo featured on the left.

Take a look at all three KENZO x ASICS colorways above, before the shoe lands via KENZO and HBX on January 26.
