Who doesn’t love Kerrygold Butter? It’s a favorite at Allrecipes, and we’re not alone. Stanley Tucci keeps “vats” of it in his kitchen, and Martha Stewart bakes with it. In fact, our panel of seven chefs chose the Irish butter as the best store-bought option out there.

But there’s one minor drawback—it’s usually sold in 8-ounce blocks. If you bake often, you know measuring butter from a block isn’t as convenient as using pre-measured 4-ounce sticks with tablespoon markings.

Still, we’ve been willing to overlook that because of its creamy texture and 82 percent butterfat content. And now, things are about to get even better.

Kerrygold's New Butter Sticks

Kerrygold has been listening. The brand is introducing salted and unsalted butter sticks, perfect for baking, cooking, and fitting neatly in butter dishes. Each 1-pound box comes with four 4-ounce sticks.

The butter itself isn’t changing—so no need to worry. It’s still the same Irish grass-fed butter we love, made from milk from 14,000 small Irish family farms. The only difference is the new, convenient packaging.

Now, the only question is: What do we bake first? A rich butter cake, an apple butter spice cake for fall, or maybe just a loaf of artisan bread to slather with Kerrygold while it’s still warm?

Decisions, decisions.
