Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick’s Tender ‘Never My Love’ Duet Features Goat Cameo
Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are back at it again with another duet!
The two actors and longtime couple share a genuine love for music, often joining forces to perform some of their favorite tunes together. For their latest rhythmic session, the pair put their spin on 1967's "Never My Love" by The Association.
Both appearing on-camera playing string instruments, Kyra began first, singing the opening verse of the tune while Kevin sat beside her, lovingly admiring his wife.
"You ask me if there'll come a time / When I grow tired of you / Never, my love / Never, my love," The Closer star softly sang.
For the next few lines, Kevin picked up where she left off, coming in with, "You wonder if this heart of mine / Will lose its desire for you / Never, my love / Never, my love."
Joining in together, they belted the next few verses, but they couldn't wrap up without a cameo from a special musical guest—a goat. Toward the end of the musical number, Kyra pulled out a small figure of the four-legged farm friend from behind her, that bleated when she pressed it.
In lieu of actual animals—which often appear with Kevin during his "Goat Songs" performances—they opted, instead, to use the recorded version for this specific occasion, using the sound as an AdLib of sorts.
