KFC Has 3 New Limited-Edition Holiday Buckets Including One With A Retired Tagline
It's that special time of year when everything we love gets a holiday makeover. Breakfast cereal tastes like sugar cookies, Oreos get dipped in delicious, snowy white fudge, and we simply will eat anything that reminds us of a candy cane. In yet another effort to get you into the holiday mood, KFC is releasing some nostalgic holiday buckets that will have you thinking about lovely Christmases of the past while chowing down on some fried chicken.
These seasonal buckets are definitely nothing new for KFC. In fact, the chain's locations around the world have been creating festive buckets since the 1960s. This year, they're bringing back both the 1966 and 1971 U.S. holiday buckets, as well releasing a new vintage-inspired design specially made for 2020. The two replica buckets have been painstakingly recreated and include all sorts of Easter eggs for you to spot, including the fact that one uses the now-retired tagline, “North America’s Hospitality Dish.” The 2020 bucket brings the same vintage energy but with a modern twist. No matter which one you get, the chicken will taste delicious. I promise.
All of KFC's holiday buckets this year will be available in all U.S. locations starting on November 24. If you're really looking forward to getting the throwback ones, you should act quickly, because only limited quantities of the 1966 and 1971 designed buckets will be available. Throw in a side of a mashed potatoes and a whole lot of biscuits, and dare I say, this is the perfect Christmas gift?? I certainly wouldn't turn you away.
