Khloé Kardashian Shows Indentation Left on Her Cheek After Skin Cancer Journey

Khloé Kardashian is giving fans an update on the aftermath of the "skin cancer scare" she experienced last year.

In a new Instagram Story on Tuesday, Sept. 19, the Good American co-founder showed off the area on her face where she had a melanoma spot removed in 2022, which has now left her with an indentation on her cheek.

"I am definitely not complaining because I would rather have an indention than melanoma any day,” Kardashian, 39, wrote alongside a photo with an arrow pointing to the affected area of her face. “I am so incredibly grateful to all the doctors who helped and continue to help me with my skin cancer journey.”

The Kardashians star went on to reveal that she is now getting the indentation filled with cosmetic injections, sharing a series of before and after photos from the transformation process.

"I look insane in these pics but I’m just happy that my face is slowly coming back together ha! I don’t even know how else to word this," she wrote, nothing that she had to wait nine months before getting any fillers.

Kardashian was very grateful in her post to her "Armenian Tribe" for helping her get the indentation filled, as well as Dr. Garth Fisher, who performed the initial removal surgery in October 2022.

The former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star also used Tuesday's post to encourage others to get their routine skin checks, revealing, "I never imagined that this tiny spec would turn into skin cancer and I can't fathom what would have possibly happened had I not gone to the doctor to get it looked at."

"Don't ever feel embarrassed or like you're making a big deal about nothing, or that you're being paranoid," she further urged, while adding, "There is no such thing as being too careful."

"Sending you love and great health," she concluded the post.
