Kim K Is Back to Platinum Blonde at Tom Ford
There's probably no better time to debut a bold new beauty look than New York Fashion Week, and Kim Kardashian is taking the beauty spotlight by the reins. While she had been rocking her long black mane as of late...
...the soon-to-be mother of three debuted a new hyper-bright platinum blonde cut at the Tom Ford show, courtesy of hair stylist Chris Appleton, who posted a Boomerang of Kim (repping her KKW Beauty line, naturally) with the caption, "Guess who? Seeing if blondes have more fun! Silver white hair vibes! It's NYFW!":
In an interview with Cosmopolitan.com, Appleton shared that the trendsetter wanted to "change it up": "We did the long dark which was a huge trend ... Platinum is such a cool look but we wanted to make it silver white - it's a modern platinum."
"Taking Kim blonde was something we both talked about for a long time. We wanted a whole new vibe and platinum is such an iconic look."
As for how he knew Kim would look good with the almost white-blonde? Well, she's been there before:
And this "silvery white" tone is, while perhaps more maintenance overall, perhaps slightly easily to deal with as the cut is "just past the bust, but not heavy, just cool and sexy." Speaking of sexy, that hair paired with the black latex dress she wore to the show?
