Kim K Evacuates Her House Amid California Wildfires, as Caitlyn Jenner Loses Her Home
An evacuation is in place as the Woolsey Canyon fire continues to spread.
The BBC reports that nine people have died in the devastating fires, with 250,000 forced to evacuate their homes, and more reported missing.
It's thought that Caitlyn Jenner's home, which she shares with Sophia Hutchins, has burned down in the wildfire. Both Hutchins and Jenner have made it to safety.
Kim Kardashian West shared footage of the fire and revealed she had just one hour to evacuate her home.
Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian have also been forced to leave their homes.
Wildfires continue to devastate California, and many people have taken to social media to update others on their whereabouts. Strong winds and dry forest conditions across California have caused three fires-Camp Fire, the Woolsey Fire, and Hill Fire-to spread more rapidly, with a total of 16 fires currently occurring in California.
Kim Kardashian West shared a series of Instagram Stories revealing that her home in Calabasas had been affected by the fires. As People reported, Kim wrote on social media, "Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe."
Having since left the area, Kim posted a photo with her baby niece, True Thompson, and wrote, "Trying to get my mind off of this fire and snuggling with my niece. We are all safe and that’s all that matters."
Meanwhile, Caitlyn Jenner has been forced to flee her home in Malibu, which she shares with Sophia Hutchins, as the house has been engulfed by the fires. Posting on social media, Jenner wrote, "We’re out of the fire zone and are safe. Thinking about all those that are affected and hope you all are safe too."
It's also being reported that The Bachelor mansion is burning amid the spreading fires, per The Hollywood Reporter. Eyewitness News has a guide on how you can help all of those affected.
