Kim Kardashian on Her Feud With Kourtney and Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s Relationship Status
Kim Kardashian appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show before the holiday, where in addition to revealing her daughter North West was PhotoShopped into her family holiday card, Kim dished on the status of two dramatic relationships in her household.
DeGeneres asked her straight up about whether Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott were dating now after Kylie was seen wearing a new ring and whether Kim is still at war with her older sister Kourtney. Kim did answer the questions honestly…but her knowledge was limited in regards to her billionaire sister’s love life.
When asked whether Jenner and Scott were dating, Kardashian responded, "No, I honestly don’t know, but I think that they’re just really close friends and coparenting amazingly. The big ring, they’re definitely not engaged, and I think she’s wearing it on a different finger. I do know that I think she bought it herself. She can [afford it herself[. But, yeah, I don’t know the status of whether they’re together or not. I don’t think they are."
DeGeneres also mentioned the family was feuding as a segue to asking about Kourtney. "Yeah, [the family is feuding]," Kim acknowledged. Then she broke down what her issue with Kourtney is and what their relationship status is now, since the show is filmed months before it airs and doesn't represent the Kardashians' current status. "Kourtney and I, we just went to Japan together," Kim said. "We’ve really taken the time to hear each other out and listen. What sucks is that season 18 will come out soon, and it gets worse before it gets better so her and I have healed and have talked about everything and have really come to an understanding."
Then she explained how Kourtney really feels about the show: "Well, she likes it [being involved in Keeping Up With the Kardashians] only she wants to film just when she feels like it," she started. "If one family member goes on vacation a lot or takes time off a lot, the other family members have to step in and take over those hours. So for the past year, Khloé and I have been taking over her hours, working because we need content to make the show, so Khloé and I have been really frustrated that we’ve been working longer and we have kids and a lot of stuff going on and so it has been exhausting for us when she hasn’t taken that into consideration without making a decision of what she wants to do, stay on the show, not but to be in this limbo and have us do this for so long is frustrating. So we’ve come to the conclusion that she’ll film a little bit and—I don’t even know if we have a conclusion actually. It’s always like, up in the air but we’re in a good place about respecting each other’s space. And if someone doesn’t want to be on the show, we obviously want them to have that mental break and live their life exactly the way that they want."
