From Town & Country

Beth Buccini is known globally for her store Kirna Zabete in New York City's Soho neighborhood. Filled with only the most vibrant, show-stopping pieces from both emerging and storied designers, the shop has been a destination for fashion aficionados since 1999.

Over the past 17 months, Buccini has been making major moves, opening new stores in three of T&C's favorite enclaves: East Hampton, Bryn Mawr, and, as of last week, Palm Beach.

"I've been opening new stores where there is a void," says Buccini, who splits most of her time between Pennsylvania and New York City. "It's been surprisingly so easy, because the customers are excited. It feels like fun and not work."

Palm Beach was the natural fit for the shopkeeper (who is also a mother of four!) because her parents and in-laws have homes on the island. "I have spent many holidays and vacations soaking up the Florida sunshine," she says. "I can’t wait to do the same this winter while serving the island with a shopping destination that is happy and fun.”

From pink and green floral Rosie Assoulin sundresses and candy-colored Rebecca de Ravenel hoops to tropicana Johanna Ortiz gowns and bamboo-handled Gucci bags, the racks at the 3,000 square foot Kirna Zabete are filled with pieces that are quintessentially PB.

For beach-chic decor fans, the Steven Gambrel-decorated interiors are reason enough to stop in. Situated in the newly renovated historic Royal Poinciana Plaza, Gambrel went to town wrapping the shop in De Gournay hand-painted palm wallpaper and dripping a lacquered grand hallway with graphic chandeliers.
