Kit Harington and Rose Leslie Brought Their Best Style to the 2020 Golden Globes
Game of Thrones is over, but the off-screen love story between married co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie (Jon Snow and Ygritte) goes on at the Golden Globes tonight. The couple walked the red carpet together during a very rare public date night. Harington is a Golden Globes nominee for his work as Jon Snow on the show and is the only Game of Thrones cast member to be recognized at the ceremony. He's up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama.
He went for a classic look alongside his wife, opting for an all black suit. Leslie was a little more edgy, wearing green sheer sequined gown. This is their first joint red carpet appearance since last April, when they attended the New York City premiere of Game of Thrones' final season.
The two were most recently photographed out on a date in December. It comes after a source told People that following the end of the show, Harington spent time in rehab to work on his health. His rep confirmed in May that Harington got help, saying then that Harington intended to “utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues.”
A source gave People an update on how Leslie and Harington were doing in the summer, once Harington finished his treatment, and they celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary.
"The two are enjoying the summer, spending time with family and friends,” a source said. “Kit seems well. And Rose seems happy that he is back in London. While he was in Connecticut [at his wellness retreat], she was laying low. It seemed their focus was just getting Kit feeling better. And he does look better. Kit and Rose seem happy.”
