When it comes to choosing the perfect edible centerpiece, there are lots of things to consider. Is it organic or pasture-raised? How many pounds do I need to feed all my guests? How long does it take to cook again? All things considered, selecting your turkey is about as tricky as choosing the perfect Christmas tree, but also just as rewarding.
The unequivocal star of the show at Thanksgiving is the turkey. However you slice it, no holiday dinner is complete until the painstakingly tended-to bird has made its way to the table. Brined, basted, seasoned and roasted, the sizable protein takes the longest to prepare, but the results are so well worth it.
To assist us in hosting the perfect Thanksgiving soiree, retailers have continued to supply us with a variety of offerings tailored to create the comfiest of vibes. Whether you’re in the market for seasonal decor, serving items or a last-minute side, grocers like Trader Joe’s have got you covered.

In the past, the retailer has offered at least three options including kosher and organic offerings to tailor to a variety of tastes and preferences. The average turkey price is expected to be around $1.27 per pound this year, but prices may vary based on location and other attributes of your chosen main dish.
Fortunately, if you don’t have the time or would rather let someone else do the cooking, Popeye’s just announced the return of their heat and serve cajun-style turkeys just in time for the holiday.
