Krispy Kreme’s Lemon Doughnut Is Back, but Only for One Week

We never thought it was possible to improve on the O.G. Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut, but the chain’s limited-edition, lemon-glazed flavor totally proved us wrong.

Back in April, Krispy Kreme gave us a fleeting taste of the customer-chosen variety (which beat out equally delicious-sounding blueberry and caramel in a vote). Good news: The flavor proved so popular, it’s coming back. (!!!)

The lemon-glazed doughnuts are just like the original, but with a citrusy twist. (Yes, that’s real lemon zest atop the glaze.) Also like before, though, the flavor will be short lived: Lemon doughnuts will only be available this week, August 27 through September 2.

We’ll take one dozen.
