Krispy Kreme Is Bringing Back Its Gingerbread Donuts Including One Stuffed With Cheesecake Kreme
Krispy Kreme has already given us plenty of holiday gifts this year, including free donuts and a line of holiday donuts fit to leave out for Santa. But it turns out they had yet another surprise up their sleeves and are bringing back a holiday fave: gingerbread donuts.
Yes, starting today, you'll be able to pick up a donut that tastes just like your favorite holiday cookie but has all the added deliciousness of a Krispy Kreme donut. The flavor will be available in two different varieties, sure to please everyone from the biggest Christmas fan to the grinchiest.
First up is the Gingerbread Glazed Doughnut. It's made with perfectly spiced gingerbread dough with hints of cinnamon that's then covered in a warm gingerbread molasses glaze. Then you have your Gingerbread Glazed Original Filled Cheesecake Doughnut. This treat is made with that very same spiced gingerbread glazed doughnut filled with a delicious cheesecake Kreme. No matter which you prefer, each is destined to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
“Everyone on the nice list deserves our delicious, melt-in-your-mouth Gingerbread Glazed Doughnuts,” said Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Dave Skena said in a release: “We’re happy to bring back this holiday favorite.”
If these gingerbread treats are sounding pretty good to you right now, don't delay! Both these and the festive holiday donuts will only be sticking around at participating shops until December 24. Once Santa is done delivering presents, well, you'll have to wait until next year to snag a yuletide donut.
