Krispy Kreme Is Giving Everyone A Free Donut For A Week
Nowadays, every day of the week feels the same. Whether it's Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday ... it's just like another day. So this friendly shout-out to mark your calendars this Friday for National Donut Day may be a welcome reminder.
Even better? Instead of limiting the party to just 24 hours this year, Krispy Kreme is turning National Doughnut Day into National Doughnut Week. That means the donut chain is giving everyone a free donut for a week, no purchase necessary.
It sounds to good to be true, butyou can redeem one free donut of your choice at your local Krispy Kreme every day from June 1 through 5. That includes the chain's iconic Original Glazed Donut, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles Donut, or Original Filled Donut varieties. Any day, any donut free.
Per Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme:
“National Doughnut Day is one of our favorite holidays to celebrate, but with days starting to blur together, we want to make sure it’s easier than ever for fans to participate. That’s why, this year, we’re extending our beloved free doughnut tradition from one day to five days with the very first National Doughnut Week.”
This is not the first time in the era of social distancing that Krispy Kreme has sweetened up everyday life for fans. The donut chain kicked off the summer season last weekend with a "Double Dozen" promo. Fans could scoop up two dozen donuts for $13 at participating U.S. shops.
