Krispy Kreme Is Releasing 2 Butterfinger Donuts Topped With Crushed Candy And Peanut Butter
It's pretty exciting when two of our favorite brands collab. Who could forget the launch of Froot Loop Pop-Tarts? Or the rush when we saw this Cinnamon Toast Crunch coffee creamer? Well, we felt that certain electric feeling when Krispy Kreme announced it would be selling two different Butterfinger-inspired donuts.
Starting today at participating Krispy Kreme shops, you can pick up these two donuts that take on the taste of the iconic candy. If you've ever had a Butterfinger, you already know that these donuts are going to be packed with chocolate and peanut butter goodness. And they're gonna be GOOD.
First up is the Butterfinger Original Filled Doughnut, which is an original glazed donut filled with peanut butter chocolate creme, dipped in Butterfinger icing, and topped with Butterfinger pieces and a chocolate drizzle.
Next up is the Butterfinger Fudge Cake Doughnut which is a chocolate cake donut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with a peanut butter chocolate creme and Butterfinger pieces.
You can probably already imagine what this tastes like: a mix of sweet, salty, crunchy, and chewy all together. I won't even be mad when the pieces inevitably get stuck in my teeth. That's how here I am for this collab!
Of course, nothing gold can stay, so these donuts will only be sticking around for a limited-time and, again, will only be available at certain Krispy Kreme shops. Just be sure to call ahead before promising your friends a dozen. That would sure be awkward if you showed up sans donuts...
