Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Lip-Sync Best Vacation Video Ever
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have just released a music video of their safari vacation in Africa, and we’re pretty sure it’s the most awesomely 80s thing that has ever happened in the world of travel. Even in the 80s.
The video is a tribute to Toto’s iconic tune “Africa,” which is clearly a fitting soundtrack for any trip to that continent, but it’s elevated to completely new levels by the star couple, who took the trip last year before their two daughters, Lincoln and Delta, were born.

Bell, who voiced Anna in the movie Frozen, and Shepard, from NBC’s Parenthood, spend a full five minutes intensely lip-syncing the cryptic lyrics, dancing around in the rain, banging imaginary drums, and gazing meaningfully into the distance (sometimes from the bath). They are completely committed — perhaps nowhere moreso than at 2:54, when Bell, donning a headband and nodding seriously to the beat, suddenly breaks out the air flute.

It’s genius. It’s hilarious. And it totally makes me want to vacation with this couple. Although to be fair, they probably had to listen to the song, like, a million times during the trip.
