Kristen Bell Has Seriously Ripped Abs, And Her Latest Instagram Proves It
Kristen Bell just showed off her toned abs in her Instagram Stories.
In the picture, Kristen is taking a selfie, which was snapped by friend and Veronica Mars alum, Ryan Hansen.
While on a group vacation, the two families made time for a team workout.
It's hard to believe that Kristen Bell will turn 40 next year, especially after seeing The Good Place star's abs in her latest Instagram story.
On a group vacation with husband Dax Shepard, their two daughters, and her friend Ryan Hansen, the actress was caught mid-"selfie in paradise." Hansen snapped a shot of Bell in workout gear and sunglasses as she posed in front of a gorgeous sunset.
The actress looks all kinds of ripped in the photo, with a serious six-pack on full display. The group of nearly 20 were vacationing in Temecula, California, staying at a gorgeous Airbnb. The Southern California town is known for its hillside vineyards and old school restaurants.
While the wine-drinking is reserved for adults, everyone from Bell's large group looks to be having a blast in her latest Instagram post. "The happiness is almost blinding ?? ," one of Bell's fans commented, and we couldn't agree more.
In the middle of their vacay, the fit group squeezed in some time for a workout, which explains Bell's ab shot. Hansen, Bell's friend from Veronica Mars, shared a photo to his Instagram story of the crew exercising together in the coolest outdoor gym.
As one of Bell's friends lifts dumbbells, another pulls on a cable, while a third lifts a bar. There are a few kiddos running around, but they're just playing, not joining their parents at the gym.
Hansen tagged Bell in the outdoor gym post, so you can guarantee that the star was getting her sweat on throughout the trip. As you can tell from her toned figure, staying active is important to the actress.
After her first child Lincoln's birth in 2013, Bell picked up Pilates. She's also a huge fan of cycling because she finds spin classes easiest to power through during the the day.
"That they feel like a nightmare while they're happening, but like a dream the whole rest of the day," she previously told Women's Health while at a SoulCycle class in 2014. "It's a unique trade-off to be in a room full of 50 other people who are suffering and leaking from every spot on their body. But the endorphin rush that you get and the self-confidence that you feel from having pushed that hard is really extraordinary."
These days, the Frozen 2 star goes to L.A.-based gym Studio Metamorphosis and takes a combo cardio and strength class that burns up to 1,000 calories per session. "It’s basically a cross between pilates and CrossFit and pretty much the worst class I’ve taken," she said.
Like powering through a spin class, Kristen builds up a sense of accomplishment during each workout by setting bite-size, achievable goals for herself every time she hits the gym. "I find if I can make tiny bargains with myself, I can incrementally move forward," she told Women's Health.
"Like I will say, 'Today all you have to do is jog for seven minutes.' 'Today all you have to do is jog for 10 minutes.' And I rarely go past 15 or 20, if ever. I'm not a long-distance jogger. But if I make a tiny commitment, I know I can accomplish seven minutes."
