Kristin Cavallari shares daring bikini photo from Mexican vacation: 'Suns out buns out'
The pandemic — and being stranded for nearly a month in the Bahamas amid the initial outbreak this spring — doesn’t seem to have dampened Kristin Cavallari’s taste for travel. According to her posts on Instagram, the newly single reality star is spending time with girlfriends in San José del Cabo, Mexico, where the itinerary includes wining, dining and sunbathing.
That’s just what the mom of three is doing in her most recent photo, stretching out alongside a crystal-blue swimming pool in a neon bikini that leaves little to the imagination.
Her caption says it all: “Suns out buns out.”
Unsurprisingly, the 33-year-old’s sultry snapshot got a lot of attention from her fans, one of whom dubbed it a “divorce thirst trap” in a reference to Cavallari’s split from former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler.
“Jay Cutler WHOOOOOO,” added another commenter. “Go off sis!!!!!!!!
“OK we get [it] you’re perfect,” read one comment, while one fan called it “the perfect view.”
Some did take Cavallari — who can be seen wearing a mask in some, but not all, of her vacation footage — to task for traveling to the resort city.
“This account is like COVID who?” read a comment, while another scolded, “Everyone in lockdown but let’s go vacation.”
Cavallari recently reflected on the impact the pandemic, and her impending divorce, has had on her life, telling Health, “I feel like, for the first time in a long time, I’ve been able to come up for air. COVID-19 has a lot to do with that because we’ve all been forced to slow down. And, to be honest, now that I’m going through a divorce, I only have my kids half the time. I have all this time on my hands. It’s a great opportunity for me to focus on myself, because I didn’t for a long time. Now when I have my kids, I am ready and excited and so present.”
The same interview also included her newfound approach to dieting.
“In my early 20s, I was obsessed about [what I ate],” she shared. “I would be really strict. Then, on the weekends, I would binge-eat. It was unhealthy to be thinking about food that much. Once I let go and gave into cravings when I had them but didn’t obsess, food stopped running my entire world. I can really enjoy it.”
