Kyle Richards Breaks Silence on 'Untrue' Divorce Rumors
Don't rule out Kyle Richards' marriage just yet.
On July 3, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to Instagram to release a joint statement with her husband, Mauricio Umansky. The statement addressed the recent reports that she and the real estate mogul had separated, as they wrote, "In regards to the news that came out about us today...Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue."
However, the Bravo couple didn't refute that they were possibly separated, addressing in their message that they faced a difficult time in their marriage recently.
"However, yes, we have had a rough year," the note continued. "The most challenging of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone's part."
The joint statement added, "Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative."
Earlier on July 3, People reported that the reality TV personalities had called it quits after 27 years of marriage. An insider told the publication, "Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what's next for them and their family."
The breakup news came amid online speculation that all was not right in the twosome's relationship, as Umansky noticeably didn't share Richards' birthday wishes for him in June.
The pair shares daughters Alexia, Sophia, and Portia. Richards is also a mom to daughter Farrah, who works closely with stepdad Umansky at his company, The Agency.
