The Container Store gave us a peek inside Kylie and Jason Kelce's home garage and, sure enough, it was a mess. (*Stars, they're just like us.*) Between his football gear, her field hockey equipment, and their girls' wide assortment of outdoor games, toys, bikes, and more, staying organized was the goal, but was a difficult game to win. “Kylie is way more organized than me," offered Jason, while Kylie shared a similar compliment of their combined efforts to keep things in order. Even the most well-intentioned and organized families struggle to maintain a sense of balance in the organization of everyday items, even those who can jokingly refer to their garage as "a Kelce landfill." As parents of young children, they weren't prepared for how much their life would change once their garage received its organizational makeover.

The transformation that ensued for their Pennsylvania home incorporated a wide range of products and accessories from The Container Store’s Garage+ By Elfa. “The process was so seamless. They knew exactly what we needed and pulled it off expertly,” shared Jason. “It’s amazing. Everything has its place,” added Kylie.

"It's Livable Organization"

A mix of heavy-duty wire shelves and locking cabinets work hard to get the family organized:

  • Wire shelves are installed across a painted cinderblock wall. Each shelf holds up to 100 pounds per linear foot.

  • On those shelves, an assortment of green and black fluted, stackable bins contain family-friendly materials. Can't think of a better way to organize accessories for yard games, baseball gloves, Kanjam, sand toys, and balls (all the balls)!

  • Utility racks and hooks are incorporated into the metal shelving unit to organize sports accessories, including Kylie's field hockey sticks, badminton rackets, baseball bats, bicycles, helmets, umbrellas, folding chairs, and more. “It’s amazing. Everything has its place,” notes Kylie.

  • A combination of upper locking cabinets, lower locking cabinets, and tall locking cabinets maximize space and keep items out of reach of small fingers.

  • Within the metal cabinets are more bins — these ones, primarily open and made of plastic make organization by category manageable: bird feeders/birdseed, plant pots, furniture care products, gardening gloves, and more. Upon seeing the labels on each bin, Jason nodded. “I like it all. It’s nice to know what’s in there.”

  • A metal pegboard keeps basic tools out of a cabinet at within easy reach. Cups and hooks on the board make it easier for the couple to keep these items orderly.
