Kylie Jenner is getting mom-shamed for hanging out in Miami without her baby
Take a quick glance at social media and you might understand why Kylie Jenner spent her pregnancy out of the public eye. Since giving birth to daughter Stormi Webster in early February, the reality star is back in the limelight — and getting mommy-shamed at every turn.
In just a month’s time, Jenner has been criticized for myriad reasons, including hiring nannies, showing off a flat stomach so soon after childbirth, and having long nails that couldn’t possibly change a diaper.
Now the beauty mogul and boyfriend Travis Scott are getting grief for spending time in Miami without their month-old daughter. Scott was in town to perform at Story Nightclub on March 3.

The controversy surfaced after TMZ published photos of the new parents enjoying a boat trip with friends. The photos also captured the 20-year-old holding a beer bottle, though she is legally too young to drink.
The implied boozing also prompted speculation about Jenner’s breastfeeding habits, though experts have ruled that a low alcohol intake (i.e., less than 0.5 grams of alcohol per kilogram of body weight) has a minimal effect on a nursing infant.
Naturally, Twitter had some thoughts.
Just saw an article that said "Kylie and Travis finally get a vacation right without stormi"… Like she's a month old?

.@KylieJenner this is what happens when your 20, rich, and you have a 1 month old baby in CA. You ditch her and head to Miami to drink and hang out. So much for bonding time. Guess she’s not breast-feeding: drinking alcohol and all. What a failure! https://t.co/SPpqt8QyOM

Can’t believe @KylieJenner already left her baby at home while she gets drunk in Miami. No wait, yes, yes I can. @ThePerezHilton how bout you?

I guess when you have 3 nannies you don't need to stay home with your baby

But seriously, Kylie Jenner is getting drunk in Miami with Travis Scott. I think they left their baby Stormi somewhere over the Atlantic ocean. pic.twitter.com/pxUVXglIIg

But the couple had their supporters too.
Lol @ everyone hating in the comments. That kid never has to pay for college because her parents are more successful and have more money than everyone who commented combined

1. How does anybody know Stormi isn’t in Miami with Kylie, just back at their place or something while they’re on a boat ride?
2. She has private jets… she can literally fly to Miami for the day and be back home by bedtime.— Leah Dmitruk (@leahdoesmakeup) March 6, 2018
But literally I saw someone comment “so much for loving your baby soooo much and never wanting to leave her” on one of the posts of them out… I….. just can’t with people. pic.twitter.com/9rozG1J3YM

Sure enough, Jenner has already flown back home. But she’s not the only celebrity catching flak for leaving her little one at home. Country singer Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, also just called out “parent-shamers” who questioned their decision to take a tropical vacation without their 3-month-old son.
“Just a word of wisdom for all the parent-shamers,” Brittany Kerr Aldean wrote on Instagram. “Vacations are OK for new parents to take. Sometimes after being pregnant for almost a year, cooped up in a house for weeks at a time, you need a little sunshine and adult time.”
