Kylie Jenner got a very pink, very blond Barbie makeover for her 21st birthday
It’s her party, and she’ll wear multiple pink outfits if she wants to, OK?
Kylie Jenner became officially old enough to drink legally on Friday, Aug. 10, but she kicked off the celebrations with a star-studded 21st birthday bash on Thursday night. And while the party didn’t seem to have just one overt theme — there was a ball pit, balloons, staff wearing T-shirts emblazoned with her Forbes cover, and plastic Solo cups for booze — the birthday girl was giving off major Barbie vibes.
Jenner first joined her sisters and other loved ones for a birthday dinner that appeared to have a dress code demanding short, sparkly, candy-hued outfits worthy of Studio 54. For Stormi Webster’s mama, that meant a hot pink minidress with a exposed midriff, power shoulders, and plunging neckline — not to mention icy, platinum-blond hair. Go-to Kardashian hairstylist Chris Appleton confirmed that the “futuristic golden Barbie” look was his handiwork and not a wig.

But why settle for just one Barbie-inspired birthday outfit when you can have two? As guests like Caitlyn Jenner and Dave Chappelle gathered for the second half of her party, Jenner changed into a glittery, baby pink getup that can only be described as disco-ball-meets-SoulCycle, with a splash of Paris Hilton.
