With Coachella officially upon us, it's time for flower crowns, optical illusion eye makeup, and plenty of glitter highlighter. Festival beauty is all about rocking the hair and makeup trends that are reserved for the cool girls, and, leave it to Kylie Jenner, to take that sentiment to heart.
On Friday, ahead of the weekend's music event, the beauty mogul debuted neon pink hair on Instagram while declaring herself as a "cool mom." "I'm not a regular mom, I'm a cool mom," she captioned the snap, quoting Amy Poehler's famous line in Mean Girls.
The young mom's bright mane comes just in time for her first public appearance since giving birth to daughter, Stormi Webster, in February, and will guarantee more than a few head turns in a crowd of concertgoers.
Though, Jenner is no stranger to switching up her hair color ahead of Coachella—she wore a yellow wig last spring, and peach strands the year before—the pink hue may hold a deeper meaning. Three KarJenner babies (all girls), including big sister Khloé Kardashian's baby, who was born earlier this week, joined the family in 2018, and her new locks could be a sweet tribute to the female-centric clan.
The color change comes weeks after displaying a collarbone-grazing chop on social media. However, Jenner seemingly returned to her extensions, adding several inches to her hair, which extends past her waist.
Whether the 20-year-old's cotton candy hair color is permanent or a wig, she has certainly claimed herself a spot in the "cool mom" club.
