Kylie Kelce Opens Up About Being a Part of ‘Fun’ Kelce Family

Kylie Kelce officially confirmed that being part of the Kelce family is just as "fun as you think it is."

While chatting with ABC News, the 31-year-old touched down on what it was like to join Jason and Travis Kelce's family, telling reporters, "I was on the outside at the beginning because I married in," she said. "And the most amazing part is that I was welcomed in with open arms."

Though she suggested the introduction to Ed and Donna "Mama" Kelce went smoothly elsewhere in the conversation, she admitted that there were a few things she had to grow accustomed to.

"They're a pretty small family, so it is a little bit of an adjustment," Kylie said. "But it feels so warm and inviting like, I think, a big family feels, that it was sort of second nature to hop in there. And it is as fun as you think it is."

Kylie and Jason married in 2018, and in the five years since, the two have expanded the Philadelphia Eagles center's family even more, welcoming three daughters: Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 9 months.

Kylie has remained relatively tight-lipped on her brother-in-law's budding relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift. She's previously spoken about her own relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his older brother, though–more specifically, calling out her now-husband for nearly fumbling his chance with her at the start.

On Jason and Travis' joint podcast, New Heights, she explained, "Well, his profile at the time was something to the effect of, 'I want to have deep meaningful conversations and talk about getting married and having kids' or something like that."

Their first date, however, wasn't nearly as wholesome. "You fell asleep 45 minutes after I got there on the bar table because he was too drunk," Kylie said.

"Not a good first date," Jason admitted before quickly saving himself, "[I] got a little bit too inebriated, but I was sober enough to know it was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. It was love at first sight."

It was only up from there, though, as the two went on to create a beautiful and tight-knit family that even her brother-in-law can't stay away from.
