Kylie Kelce Shares Plans for Husband Jason’s ‘New Hobbies’ After NFL Retirement
Jason and Kylie Kelce
Jason Kelce hasn’t announced a final decision on his NFL retirement timeline just yet, but his wife Kylie recently hinted at some of the tasks she hopes he’ll embrace when the time comes.
In an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America, Kylie said she believes her husband will find success in “whatever he does” next.
“I’m not just saying that because I’m his wife,” she said, adding that Jason’s personality gives her confidence in his ability to succeed.
When he does decide to retire, Kylie has some ideas for how he can spend his free time.
“I think that he’ll have enough time on his hands to sort of pick up some new hobbies,” she told Good Morning America in an interview clip airing Feb. 3. “Maybe he’ll be the new breakfast guy.”

Jason, 36, has played with the Philadelphia Eagles since he was drafted by the team in 2011. The center fueled retirement rumors after the Eagles’ NFL season ended last month when he reportedly told his teammates he wouldn’t be returning.
Jason walked back those comments days later while speaking on New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Jason told Travis he hadn’t made any announcement “on purpose” following the Eagles’ Jan. 15 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and still wasn’t sure what his immediate future would look like.
When he does make a decision about his future in football, Jason said he will make an announcement “in a way that’s definitive and pays a lot of respect” to the people who “have meant a lot to me and led to the career I have."
Since his team’s season ended, Jason has spent some of his free time cheering on his brother as the Chiefs advanced in the NFL playoffs. While both Kelce brothers made it to the Super Bowl in 2023—marking the first time two brothers competed in the big game on opposing teams—Travis is the only one who made it to the final game of the NFL season this year.
Jason is expected to join other members of the Kelce family at the Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11 to cheer for Travis at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.
