La Prairie Celebrates The Launch of Their New Product: Skin Caviar Nighttime Oil

1 of 7

La Prairie, the legendary Swiss skincare brand, has once again elevated to new heights as they’ve expanded their iconic Skin Caviar collection to include an innovative formula. On Wednesday August 29th, over 70 guests flocked to MoMA PS1 to celebrate the launch of La Prairie’s new addition: Skin Caviar Nighttime Oil. The Cobalt Night— co-hosted by the founders of Rodarte, Kate and Laura Mulleavy— featured an interactive digital experience which allowed guests to learn more about La Prairie’s latest creation. Award winning chef, Daniela Soto-Innes, and famous DJ, Mona Matsuoka, also helped to bring the evening soirée to life by delivering a night filled with delectable caviar inspired dishes and curated beats.

During the event, attendees also had the opportunity to participate in private tours of MoMA PS1's Structures for Life exhibition, honoring the late French American artist Niki de Saint Phalle. Niki de Saint Phalle’s legacy is deeply rooted in La Prairie’s brand, as the color of the Skin Caviar collection's lavish jars—first produced almost 40 years ago— is directly inspired by the famous artist’s signature cobalt blue. These extraordinary blue containers are truly captivating, and what lies within them is equally enticing. The Skin Caviar Nighttime Oil is infused with Caviar Retinol, a coveted ingredient which works magic while you sleep by nourishing skin and reducing signs of aging, producing an overall lifting and firming effect.

Take a look at the exclusive evening celebrating this product, and the artist that inspired its presentation.
