Lady Gabriella Windsor Is Engaged Marking the Third Royal Wedding in a Year
Another royal wedding is happening. Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, is engaged to Thomas Kingston, Buckingham Palace announced Wednesday, September 19.
The future bride is the daughter of one of Queen Elizabeth II’s cousins, Prince Michael of Kent. “Prince and Princess Michael of Kent are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter Lady Gabriella Windsor to Mr. Thomas Kingston,” the palace announced.

According to the release, Kingston proposed during a getaway to the Isle of Sark, which is located off the coast of France. The couple kept their engagement a secret for about a month.
“Lady Gabriella (known as ‘Ella’) is a Senior Director at Branding Latin America, a brand-positioning platform that specializes in the region,” it was noted in the statement from Buckingham Palace. “She is also a writer and contributes to The London Magazine. Mr. Kingston works in frontier market investment and is a Director of Devonport Capital.”
This is the third royal wedding in a year following Prince Harry’s May 19 nuptials to Meghan Markle, and Princess Eugenie’s upcoming wedding to Jack Brooksbank.
