Another big night for Oscar best actress hopeful Lady Gaga has begun. The singer just arrived at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, one of the last major award shows before the Academy Awards in February. Tonight, Gaga is wearing a white gown with a very high leg slit by Dior Haute Couture. She walked the carpet solo-at least initially. Her fiancé Christian Carino has been at other award shows with her.

Gaga has two personal nominations tonight for A Star Is Born. There's her individual nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, as well as her collective nomination with the entire team of the film for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

This is Gaga's first ever appearance at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her campaign for the film will continue on after tonight at the BAFTA Awards in the UK on February 10 and at the Academy Awards on February 24.

Gaga's award style has been pretty dramatic. At the Golden Globe Awards, she kicked off the season wearing a sartorial tribute to Judy Garland: a giant blue gown by Valentino with her hair dyed a matching blue. Her hair was in a Cinderella-esque bun to complement the fairy-tale look:

At the Critics' Choice Awards, where Gaga won its Best Actress award with Glenn Close, Gaga wore a pink strapless gown by Calvin Klein by Appointment. Her hair was back to platinum blonde again and in Marilyn Monroe-esque waves:
