Lainey Wilson Takes the Stage to Perform New Song at the People’s Choice Awards

Country star Lainey Wilson arrived at the 2024 People's Choice Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, Feb. 18, in style, wearing a cowgirl-chic outfit on the star-studded red carpet, before heading on stage to perform "Country's Cool Again."
Fresh off her first Grammy win for Best Country Album for Bell Bottom Country, Wilson impressed with the lively performance of her new song, "Country's Cool Again" with many fans sharing their excitement and appreciation for Wilson.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), an excited fan reacted to the show, writing, "Sheesh….. @laineywilson out here singing & looking tonight!"
"I’d risk it all for Lainey Wilson," said someone else loving Wilson's performance.
Meanwhile, yet another viewer declared, "Yes, @laineywilson!!!"

Ahead of the show, Wilson shared the news that she was performing and hyped up her fans, writing, "Get ready y’all! I’m performing at this year’s @peopleschoice awards on Feb. 18. Y’all better tune in!"
The 31-year-old got two nominations for this year's People's Choice Awards, up for both Female Artist of the Year and Female Country Artist of the Year. Also nominated for the first award were Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and more, while the second category included singers like Kelsea Ballerini, Shania Twain and Carrie Underwood, among others.
In 2023, Wilson dominated the first-ever People's Choice Country Awards, a spinoff awards show of the original PCAs. After the September ceremony, Wilson walked home with three awards, including Female Artist of 2023. She also won Collaboration Song of 2023 for "Save Me" with Jelly Roll and Music Video of 2023 for HARDY's song "wait in the truck," in which she was the featured artist.
Although it's only February, it looks like Wilson's 2024 is shaping up to be another successful year!
