Lake Bell says this is the most rewarding part of being a mom
We continually fangirl over Lake Bell, who’s one of our favorite actresses/screenwriters/directors. Now, she’s opening up about another big role she plays: mom. Bell participated in the popular Us Magazine column “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” and shared the most rewarding part of motherhood.
If you didn’t know, Bell has two children with husband Scott Campbell: a two-year-old daughter named Nova and a three-month-old son named Ozgood. She’s one of the coolest moms in Hollywood!
“The most rewarding part of being a mom is the lesson of appreciating really small things and being patient,” Bell told Us Weekly. “When you have a little person, you just have to move a bit slower.”

TBH, we’re not the least bit surprised at how Bell feels about motherhood, and we love it.

In addition to being a mom, she’s been busy with work. Bell’s film, I Do…Until I Don’t, (which she both wrote and directed) just came out on Friday. It’s about a documentarian who follows the ups and downs shared between three couples. All of them are at different stages of their relationships, and we are intrigued, to say the least.
Speaking of relationships, Bell revealed something about her own to Us Weekly, too.
“I love my husband Scott Campbell’s optimism,” she said. “I tend to lean on the side of worry. He is my antidote to that.”

Awwwww. Finally, we loved what Bell had to say about self-confidence.
“The quality I admire most about myself is I have confidence in believing in myself.”
We definitely second that sentiment! Now, excuse us while we go see I Do…Until I Don’t.
