Lake Side Flea x Mystic Market to be held at Headlands Beach State Park on Aug. 3

Jul. 30—Lake Side Flea x Mystic Market is a free community arts event taking place from 1 to 6 p.m. Aug. 3 at Headlands Beach State Park in Mentor in Parking Lot P-12.

According to event organizer Morgan Bukovec, this event brings together local nonprofits, vendors, artists, musicians, food trucks and families of all ages from across Ohio to celebrate community and the beautiful nature at Headlands Beach State Park.

This free event will be held in Parking Lot P-12/P-13, at the concession stand and on the beach and includes 80 vendors/artists, 11 food trucks, five musicians/entertainers, beach yoga, family/kids summer activities, a chalk fest, face painting, summer crafts, kite flying and more.

This is the second annual event, and it has tripled in size since its inaugural year. It is sponsored by Tour Lake County. Bukovec said therer already are over 6,000 people "interested" in attending the event.

The goal is to raise money for partner nonprofits, uplifting and supporting local Ohio businesses/artists/ musicians, providing a family-friendly enjoyable atmosphere at Headlands Beach with activities and promoting the park to encourage more people to "discover" the park, return to it, create lasting memories and make Lake Side Flea a summer tradition, according to Bukovec.
