Big names like Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish are Grammy regulars at this point — but even the most die-hard music fans can forget that Lana Del Rey is also regularly recognized by the Recording Academy. And this year, she's up for five awards at the 2024 Grammy Awards, including some of the biggest honors of the night.

Del Rey, who released her album Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd last year, is up for Song of the Year and Best Alternative Music Performance for "A&W." Her album is up for Best Alternative Music Album and Album of the Year. She also has a chance to win in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for her song "Candy Necklace," a duet with fellow nominee Jon Batiste.

Tonight on the red carpet at Los Angeles's Crypto.com Arena, Del Rey was fully committed to the coquette aesthetic. For the occasion, she wore a black semi-sheer dress that hit just below the knees and featured huge shoulder pads and a subtle floral pattern. A matching pair of ladies-who-lunch gloves, which were decorated with bows, black pointed-toe pumps (also with bows), and a sleek black clutch provided the finishing touches her look.

Hopping on the bow bandwagon in the beauty department as well, Lana wore her dark brunette tresses in a half-up, half-down hairstyle that was topped off with a neatly tied black ribbon. She rounded out her glam with nude lips, winged eyeliner, and dewy skin.

The last time that Del Rey attended the ceremony was back in 2020, when she made headlines for wearing a $500 Aidan Mattox gown that she revealed was purchased at the mall. It was a last-minute purchase, she explained. While many people assumed the Great Gatsby-esque Art Deco-inspired (fitting!) gown was custom couture, it was simply love at first site that just happened to look like a custom creation.

"So, I actually had another dress and then my boyfriend and I were getting a belt for him at the mall," Del Rey told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet that night. "And I saw this, and I loved it." That year, she was nominated for Song of the Year with "Norman Fucking Rockwell" and Album of the Year with Norman Fucking Rockwell.
