Lancaster City Restaurant Week starts today. Here's what's on the menu

Lancaster City is celebrating its Restaurant Week's 10th anniversary with specials offered by over 40 restaurants, bakeries, pubs, bars, and cafes.

Well-known eateries Issei Noodle, Bistro Barberet & Bakery, Plough and Proof of Lancaster, are joined by must-sees recently opened Bert & The Elephant, a Belgian-style cafe, or Diyo Fusion, serving authentic Nepalese cuisine.

Today through Sunday, Sept. 15, you can enjoy a $35 fixed-price menu with a number of options from Himalayan Curry & Grill including Shrimp Coconut Curry, chickpea masala, goat curry and more.

Walking downstairs to enter Proof of Lancaster, makes you feel like you've stepped into a New York City speakeasy. The soft couches and dimly lit bar give you the speakeasy experience with a variety of wines and whiskeys from around the world.
