Lance Bass Hopes Fans Forgive Justin Timberlake Amid Britney Spears' Memoir Revelations
Lance Bass is hoping to say bye, bye, bye to all of the beef between Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.
In the wake of Spears' bombshell memoir release, the former couple has once again become the talk of the town, with the pop superstar sharing shocking new revelations about their history together.
In case you missed it, Spears, 41, spilled some major tea about her relationship with Timberlake, including the claim that she was once pregnant by the NSYNC singer, before allegedly terminating the pregnancy at his request.
Spears also made more accusations against Timberlake, 42, who she claims once cheated on her with another famous woman.
As a result of the scathing bombshells, Timberlake—who dated Spears for three years beginning in 1999—has been receiving tons of backlash from fans of the "Toxic" singer. He and his wife, Jessica Biel, even turned off the commenting feature on their Instagram accounts, presumably to silence the haters.
But Bass, his former bandmate, hopes Spears' fans will soon be able to bury the hatchet and move on from the drama, as he believes Spears has already done.
"Everyone has their own opinion," Bass, 44, told TMZ, before adding, "I just feel like the world is so full of hate right now that we need to practice a little forgiveness. Britney did, so let's take a note from her."
"Everyone deserves to tell their story," he stated. "She did it. I hope the fans can find some forgiveness."
Reporters asked Bass if he has talked to Timberlake since the book came out, but he refused to share anything about their private conversations.
