You started modeling in your teens. Safe to say you were confident in your look? Definitely not. I’ve always been shy and pretty quiet; I still get like that around people I don’t know well. But the great thing about getting older is that I don’t let the little things knock my confidence anymore. I may have days when I feel insecure, but I’m happy with myself as a person.

How do you like to play up those features? I like a natural lip. I love Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lip pencil. It’s quite close to my natural lip color but gives that extra bit of definition. And I always have Lanolips balm. My typical beauty routine includes moisturizing—I like Charlotte Tilbury’s Healthy Glow—putting on mascara, throwing my hair into a bun, and rushing off to do the school run.

Did you like playing with makeup as a kid? My mum never uses makeup, so it was probably as a teen. I remember being obsessed with Great Lash mascara. I started playing during that period when beige lipstick and dark lip lines were the thing. My friends and I experimented with so many colors! Being so pale and not knowing how to color-match my skin, I always turned out orange.
