Lara Trump gets dressed up in little black dress for new parents' night out

Little black dresses are a blessing. Especially when you’re a busy new mother in need of date night. Lara Trump agrees, which is why she went with an LBD for an evening out with her husband, Eric Trump, on Thursday night.

The new mom just turned 35, and a few days later she and Eric treated themselves to an adults-only night at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. For the occasion — which could’ve been simply a night out on the town or the gala for the opening of the Bible Museum that was taking place at the hotel at the same time — Lara went with a super-simple yet super-flattering sheath.

Lara’s sophisticated long-sleeved number was designed by Chiara Boni La Petite Robe, a brand that specializes in simple, sleek designs “to meet the needs of today’s women.” Like many of the line’s dresses, this one was tight and knee-length. She wore it with gold bangles and black pointy-toed pumps. Her hair was in loose waves.

Lara posted a photo of Eric and her on Instagram, with the caption, “Every now and again, even new parents like to get dressed up.”

The new mom gave birth to her son, Luke, less than two months ago. This was the first night out Lara shared on social media, but only a week after welcoming Luke, she posted glamorous family photos on Instagram in which she was wearing a different black dress and heels. She also sat down for an interview with Fox News wearing a similar ensemble.

Clearly, she got the memo that LBDs are a busy woman’s best friend.
