The Latest Beauty Executive Moves at L’Occitane, MAC Cosmetics, Tower 28 and More
Here, the latest executive shifts and appointments in beauty.
After less than a year in the role, Laurent Marteau has stepped down as chief executive officer and board member of L’Occitane. Now the beauty company in the midst of delisting from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange is being led by an office of the chief executive. Its members include Reinold Geiger, chairman and controlling shareholder of the L’Occitane Group; Samuel Antunes, group chief financial officer, and Ingo Dauer, group general counsel.

Stuart Leitch, most recently chief revenue officer at Olaplex, is now CEO at skin barrier-focused brand, SkinFix. Prior to Olaplex, Leitch was president of Lanc?me at L’Oréal and vice president of U.S. marketing at Dermalogica.
MAC Cosmetics has named Emily Bromfield as its senior vice president, global marketing. Previously chief marketing officer at Dr. Barbara Sturm, Bromfield will report to MAC’s senior vice president and global general manager, A?da Moudachirou-Rébois.
Influencer marketing agency CreatorIQ has named Brit Starr as chief marketing officer. Previously senior vice president of marketing at the company, Starr will oversee growth marketing strategies and head up events, research and insights and performance marketing.
Ebin New York, which sells an assortment of wig and hairstyling products in addition to makeup, lash and press-on nail offerings, has tapped Taniqua Bennett as chief marketing and growth officer. Prior to joining the company, Bennett was chief growth officer at textured hair care brand, Namaste Laboratories.
Dsm-Firmenich has added Nicole Mancini to its fine fragrance experience team in North America as a principal perfumer. Prior to joining, Mancini spent 23 years at Givaudan and developed scents including KKW Fragrance’s Nude Lips scent.
Triple board-certified dermatologist Dr. Candrice Heath is now chief medical adviser at eczema-safe skin care brand Tower 28. In the role, Heath will help inform the brand’s product development and educate consumers on best practices for sensitive skin care.
William Acevedo has joined Remedy Place as chief operating officer. Acevedo previously held the role at Ever/Body and Glamsquad, and aims to supercharge growth at the social wellness club, which opened in West Hollywood in 2019 and will soon open a second New York location.
Barry’s, which celebrates its 26th anniversary this year, has tapped Jackie Lamping as its new chief marketing officer. Lamping, who founded advisory services start-up Ava Ventures, will report to the company’s co-CEOs Joey Gonzalez and Jonathan Gantt.
Michelle Miller, formerly senior vice president of marketing at K18, has been promoted to chief marketing officer at the Unilever-owned hair care company. Miller recently led high-profile campaigns for the brand including partnerships with Simone Biles and Alix Earle.
