Lauren Sanchez’s 2024 Best Shoe Moments So Far: Gianvito Rossi, Dolce & Gabbana & More
Former news anchor Lauren Sanchez is not one to shy away from a tall shoe. Over the last few months, she has displayed a wide variety of heels in her public shoe style, stepping out in brands like Gianvito Rossi and Dolce & Gabbana. From red-carpet events to representing the Bezos Earth Fund to White House dinners, her shoe style in 2024 leans towards adding height and glamour to a look.
Most recently, Sanchez was seen in attendance at the State Dinner held by President Biden and the First Lady at the White House on April 10, honoring Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko. She wore a pair of metallic gold Gianvito Rossi Flavia sandals to the event, the straps over the front of the sandal resembling leaves on a vine, a nod to the dinner’s theme “a celebration of spring” and a more unique style than is often seen in a classic sandal. She attended the event with her fiancee Jeff Bezos.

In March, during the apex of awards season, Lauren Sanchez wore a Dolce & Gabbana Decollete pointy pump to the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party. The heels are a classic style frequently seen on women at red carpet events. The shoes gave Sanchez height and elegance while simultaneously pointing attention to her striking red dress by Lever Couture.
Sanchez was spotted in another classic look this year. In January, she attended Milan Fashion Week in a pair of glossy black stiletto sandals. The style, which featured an open body and delicate ankle strap, is a common and timeless silhouette. Similar styles are offered by brands such as Stuart Weitzman, Steve Madden and Christian Louboutin.
