Laverne Cox strips down in wigless, makeup-free selfie

Let us not forget, Alicia Keys reignited the #NoMakeup movement and inspired many others to show off their own natural beauty. Now, Orange Is the New Black star and LGBT activist Laverne Cox is joining the wave too, recently sharing a photo without her usual glam.

Cox posted a selfie on Instagram of herself wearing no makeup, and as the caption mentions, no wig. She did credit Emmy-nominated hairstylist Kendra Garvey for her “cute” flat-ironed straight hair. Cox’s skin looked absolutely flawless, and her fans were obsessed with her au naturel look as well.

“I literally love you,” one person noted underneath the 45-year-old’s photo. “You represent WOMEN! ALL women, because GIRL, your beauty comes from the inside and shines out! My boyfriend and I just love your posts.” Another simply stated, “Your skin is flawless doll,” and one supporter shared, “You do not need a lot of makeup, your skin is gorgeous. You don’t NEED any makeup but you know what I mean. I love your natural beauty.”

While many others expressed the same feelings for Cox’s flawless no-makeup, no-wig moment on the ‘gram, it’s hard not to admit that she is just as beautiful when she is all made up.
