  • Lea Michele posted about George Floyd’s death and said that Black lives matter.

  • Her former costars have since called her out for her hypocrisy and on-set racism.

  • Her Glee costar Amber Riley also chimed in with a telling GIF.

Yesterday, after centering white women’s voices amid the Black Lives Matter protests and calls to hold the police accountable for brutality against Black people, Glee alum Lea Michele was called out for racist behavior on the set of the hit show.

Here’s what went down: Lea took to Twitter to fire off a really short tweet about George Floyd. She wrote, “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter.”

But shortly after Lea’s post, Samantha Ware, who starred in season 6 of Glee, came through with a horrifying account of what went down between them on-set. Samantha wrote:

“LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISION GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE I’LL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF YOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD ‘SHIT IN MY WIG!’ AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD….”

Dabier, who starred in Black Lightning and was a guest star on Glee, then added, “GIRL YOU WOULDN’T LET ME SIT AT THE TABLE WITH THE OTHER CAST MEMBERS ’CAUSE ‘I DIDN’T BELONG THERE’ FUCK YOU LEA.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Willam Belli also chimed in with his own memory of Lea and said, “Lea treated me so subhuman I left the set of Glee.”

Then! Glee queen Amber Riley dropped a well-timed sipping-tea GIF, seemingly confirming these are Lea’s true colors.

Eeek!

But to keep everyone focused on the matter at hand, Amber redirected all the attention back to defunding the police.

It’s hard to tell if Lea saw any of these tweets because she hasn’t responded but has been retweeting Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Also, there’s a long-held conspiracy theory (courtesy of Naya Rivera and Facebook Live) that she can’t actually read. To be fair, Lea denied that she’s illiterate, but the internet never forgets!
