Lee Brings a Denim Look to Stutterheim’s Rainwear
Lee and Stutterheim have combined their areas of expertise in a new collection for men and women.
The Kontoor Brands-owned denim label and Swedish rainwear brand launched Wednesday a collection that transforms Lee’s classic workwear into modern rainwear. Styles come in colors inspired by light and dark wash denim.

“This collaboration offers a unique range of products that gives love and respect to both brands, and I really believe that this collection will strike a chord with dedicated followers of both our worlds,” said Lee Cotter, CEO of Stutterheim. “It’s been amazing to work with a brand with such a rich heritage as Lee and to see our materials and techniques applied to their truly iconic styles.”
Stutterheim’s raincoats have a PVC coating and double-welded seams to block rain. Known for balancing style and practicality, the Stockholm-based brand previously collaborated with Marni, Marc Jacobs and others.
The Lee x Stutterheim reinterprets Lee’s signature designs using the waterproof fabrics. The Storm Rider raincoat features an exclusive mock blanket lined interior inspired by Lee’s original design. The Chore Raincoat has a hood, and a mock blanket lined interior. The Bib Overall boasts an oversized kangaroo pouch on top with a zip closure and large spade workwear-inspired pockets on the back with adjustable straps.
The collection also includes a bucket hat crafted in two shades of blue and a waterproof backpack tote.
“I love how this collaboration has blended the best of both brands,” said Joe Broyles, global vice-president of collaborations for Lee. “You see the details of Lee’s iconic jackets and Stutterheim’s dedication to quality. It’s a unique offering that I’m excited to bring to market.”
The Lee x Stutterheim collection retails for $85-$380. It is available in XS-XL sizes for women’s pieces and S-XL for men’s pieces. The collection is available on Lee’s website and owned stores, select boutiques, and on Stutterheim’s website.
